iPhone/Desktop Applications

  • Been hearing a lot about Mono which is an open source implementation of .net. Works in Windows/Mac OS and Linux. Allows creation of native apps for all 3 platforms with only 1 code base.
  • Also heard on the StackOverflow Podcast that Mono is coming to the iPhone. More powerful and easier to develop for than Objective C. Have full functionality of the iPhone API, native apps that compile to the same binaries as typical iPhone apps. Already being used in Unity
